In Alejandro Sanz, Black:Guayaba, Calle 13, El Chapo, Los Tigres Del Norte, Paquito D'Rivera Quintet, Pepe Aguilar, Shakira on February 11, 2008 at 4:19 pm
Why is Shakira looking like a mess here? Here she is arriving at the Grammys in a Caroline Herrera gown. She must have thought she was going on a makeover show and was trying to look as shabby as possible as to make the makeover all the more spectactular.
She doesn’t look like a glamina at all. Even if she wasn’t going to do anything with the hair, she could’ve at least worked the outfit . Tsk, tsk. Want to read the list of the winners ( like Best Tejano album. Little Joe and La Familia) we actually care about and see more pics?

In Alejandro Sanz, Angelica Aragon, Paulina Rubio on January 28, 2008 at 12:44 pm
Why does everyone in this pic look a mess? Paulina Rubio should know better than to put that on. Alejandro could have used a grease wiper. I’ll spare Angelica Aragon. She’s entitled to a senior moment, after all.

In Alejandro Sanz, Jaydy Mitchel on December 25, 2007 at 6:28 pm
Everything that could possibly go wrong with Alejandro Sanz’s life did. Take a look at this drama-filled timeline:
2005-father dies, gets separated from beautiful wife Jaydy Mitchel and their daughter Manuela
2006-Alejandra lets it known to the world that his jumpoff has a 3-year old son by him, ooh and also in that year there was all sorts of brouhaha when the househelp were trying to allegedly extort money out of him in exchange for not telling his sordid secrets
No wonder the singer-songwriter had to go get some professional help. But now he’s back, with all the therapy healing that his money could get him.
“I spent a lot more time focused on simple things — and not so much on big things, or only thinking about my work. I made time for my children. Really, it helped me a lot.”
Look on the bright side, Alejandro. Now you’ve got so much more material for your future albums.
In Alejandro Sanz, Daddy Yankee, Ivy Queen, Jesse and Joy, Juan Luis Guerra, Latin Grammys, Orishas, Ricky Martin on November 9, 2007 at 3:30 pm
Daddy Yankee, Orishas and Ivy Queen lost to Puerto Rican Calle 13 for the Latin Grammy for Best Urban Music Album for “Residente o Visitante.”
Juan Luis Guerra and his banda 440 won, not one, not two, but a total of five awards at the 8th Annual edition of the Latin Grammys. The Dominican star’s laurels included trophies for Record, Song, and Album of the Year, Best Merengue Song, Best Tropical Song, Person of the Year. Other winners for the night included Ricky Martin (Pop Vocal Album and Long Form Video), Jesse and Joy (Best New Artist), Juan Luis Ricky Martin told the press: “Guerra is … the father of Latin American poetry and whoever thinks the contrary, well, get off the bus”. He can talk. He won two trophies. Wonder if he would still have kind words to say, if like Alejandro Sanz, he had to go home empty-handed.
