Javier Bardem attended the New Yorks Critics Circle Award and walked off with a trophy for his role as Anton, a psychocrazy in the film No Country for Old Men.
While at the award show, the actor known for his laidback style, verbally stated his support for the writer’s strike: “We have to support people who protest for just causes, and this is obviously one of those cases that we must support.”
Penelope was not by his side, but was really present during the couple’s beach romp over the weekend.
